Andrew Burris, CPA

Prior to joining RoseCap Financial, Andrew spent six years with the Internal Revenue Service auditing individuals and businesses. Andrew was also a manager with the IRS where he worked to train new agents. Prior to working for the IRS, Andrew worked for three years as a tax preparer at Chadwick, Steinkirchner, & Davis & Co., P.C. His experience with the tax code plays a key role in Andrew’s position at RoseCap Financial where he helps the individuals and families with tax and financial planning.

Andrew is originally from Longmont, CO, and came to Grand Junction to attend Colorado Mesa University where he earned a Bachelor’s in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration. He has been actively licensed as a CPA in the state of Colorado since 2019.

While not originally planning to stay in Grand Junction after graduation, Andrew met his wife, and the rest was history. In his free time, Andrew is a Division II baseball umpire and local high school football referee. Andrew enjoys many different hobbies ranging from homebrewing to disc golf. When not out enjoying the courses in Grand Junction, he enjoys traveling to Major League Baseball stadiums with his wife, hanging out with friends, and chilling with his three retired racing greyhounds.
